Terms and Conditions:

You, the school:

·        Will keep to the arranged timetable, age groups and numbers of students outlined during the booking process.

·        Arrange appropriate rooms and technology (including testing technology). We would normally need a way of presenting a PowerPoint as well as sound for playing any videos.

·        Give the facilitator access to the room at least 20 minutes in advance of the first session.

·        Arrange for all consecutive sessions to be timetabled in the same room. Sessions either side of a mid-morning or lunch break can be held in different rooms providing the facilitator has adequate time to set up.

During the workshops:

·        You will ensure that a teacher is present for all delivery involving SINCE 9/11 and that facilitators are not left without school support at any time during the delivery. NB: A TA is not appropriate support for the session.

·        You will ensure that challenging behaviour is dealt with by the teacher present and that the teacher will support student’s engagement with the topic.

·        You understand that failure to adequately respond to behavioural issues may affect future work conducted by SINCE 9/11 with your school.

Evaluation and Follow-up:

·        Evaluation is crucial for SINCE 9/11 to enable us to demonstrate our impact and continue offering our outreach programme, therefore you agree to complete the teacher evaluation following the event.

·        You will also encourage students to complete the feedback – which will either be via a QR code and their devices, or using a paper copy.

·        Where possible, you will use social media (either school or personal professional account) to share what SINCE 9/11 has delivered in your school and any feedback, this is of great value to our organisation.

Cancellation:

·        We recognise that, through no fault of either party, there will be occasions (such as with sickness or in an emergency) when an agreed session will need to be changed at short notice.

·       Any cancellations made by the school within two weeks of the arranged delivery date will result in a charge of 50% of the full cost of delivery. Any cancellations made within 48 hours of delivery will be charged at 100% of the full cost of delivery.

·        If the school needs to cancel further than two weeks away from the agreed date, the school will make every effort to find an alternative date for delivery.

·        If our delivery team arrives at the school and the necessary arrangements for delivery have not been made and delivery is impossible, the school must pay the full cost of delivery, plus travel costs, plus administration fee.

·       When a cancellation is due to the facilitator’s inability to deliver we will always try to find you a replacement facilitator (and meet any additional travel costs). Please note however, that this will not always be possible.

In return, SINCE 9/11 agrees to:

·        Run appropriate safeguarding checks on all of our delivery team and ensure that the facilitator(s) follow the school’s child protection and safeguarding policies.

·        Our facilitator will email you in advance of the session with their full name and contact details.

·        Deliver a unique and engaging experience for your students which will contribute to your efforts to one, or all of the following:

o   Building resilience to extremism and radicalisation

o   Supporting your implementation of the Prevent Duty

o   Supporting your efforts to promote fundamental British values
