Liam McKenna was born in 1985 in Hull, East Yorkshire. He studied Philosophy at the University of Hull. Liam worked in the private sector in satellite communications and then defence communications. He moved to the public sector to work for part of the Cabinet Office, the Government Commercial Organisation (now Agency).
During this time, he has been deployed to the Department for Work and Pensions and for the last 6 years has worked as a Senior Commercial Manager for the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs. Liam’s cousins, Michael and Christine Egan, died in the South Tower of the World Trade Center on 9/11.
