You will remember exactly where you were on 9/11, but no student at your school today was even born.
Our mission is to educate those who don’t know what the world was like before 9/11 – about the events,causes and consequences, so we can build a legacy of hope from the tragedy of that day and the terror attacks that have followed since across the world. Ahead of next year’s 20th anniversary of 9/11, and to mark Human Rights Day on 10th December, the charity SINCE 9/11 will be hosting an online summit for secondary school students around the country.
The Summit will feature a host of expert speakers – from a relative of a victim of the attacks, to leading educators on countering extremism – with a panel allowing students to ask live questions. The Summit is in association with research being carried out by UCL Institute of Education on behalf of SINCE 9/11.
