Thanks to the Ambassador Theatre Group and their amazing teams at both the New Wimbledon Theatre and Chichester Festival Theatre SINCE 9/11 have raised over £7,750! We attended 5 performances in total and were overwhelmed by the generosity of the audiences attending Come From Away. We want to say a huge thank you to everyone who supported us.
Come From Away is an multiple award winning musical set in the days following 9/11 when flights to the USA were grounded. The production tells the true story of some of the 7,000 people who were welcomed by the inhabitants of Gander, Newfoundland, a remote town in Canada. The story reminds us all of the compassion and kindness that was shown in the aftermath of the horrific events of 9/11, and focusses on the powerful force of humanity.
