Addressing extremism through the classroom (UCL)

National Schools Research: ‘Addressing Extremism Through the Classroom’

In 2021, SINCE 9/11 commissioned the University College London’s Institute of Education to conduct research into the role of schools in responding to extremism.

The purpose of the research was to improve understanding of how schools in England are engaging with fundamental British values (FBVs), what challenges they face and what further resources they require in this context.

The recommendations contained in this report have been put into an easy to use checklist for education settings, which you can access here.
