An introduction to the 9/11 Memorial & Museum’s teaching resources and programmes (06.11.24)

Suitable for: Anyone working with young people aged 11+ in an educational setting, including secondary school and FE teachers, youth workers, and apprenticeship providers, or for those who have a general interest in understanding how to teach about 9/11 and its legacy.
Guest Speaker: Graham Aikin, Past-participant, 9/11 Memorial & Museum Summer Institute
Graham Aikin, after a 20-year career in the wealth management industry, completed his Master’s degree in national security in 2024 and attended a week-long Summer Institute for Educator’s at the 9/11 Museum in July 2024. He is about to embark on a 9/11 related PhD and is passionate about training teachers, other academics and law enforcement professionals about the events of 9/11, its antecedents and its legacy.
